Hello, I just started building gunpla, I built a RG strike freedom and I am going to get a Mg Strike Freedom. Then I saw that they made a resin conversion kit for it and it looks so much better. I was just wondering, how hard are resin conversion kits to build and should i wait till i get more experience?

Honestly, it's really up to you... I'm a resin kit builder (more than plastic) and I would say that the work have the same process.
It have to be fully painted of course.
Resin kits may need more preparation work because it really depends on how the parts have been cast... ;p
I never built conversion kit so far, only full resin kit so I don't have experience for this for the moment...
I'm currently building a Resin LED Mirage bust, here are some picts of my WIP, may be you may find some tips about resin preparation and painting... => s609.photobucket.com/user/ogam…
You can also look at my gallery for some tips, there are mainly figures wips but the process is the same for resin mechas...

Definitely wait a bit longer before trying out resin,
Considering it is only a conversion kit, it is already easier than a full resin kit.
Except resin works a bit different from the plastic you find through resin kits and require
a lot of cleaning and prep work before painting. And only very few conversion kits come coloured,
so unless you are an experienced painter I wouldnt bother with them just yet.

Upload some pictures,
Depending how bad the damage is, you might be able to epoxy it.
In the worst case scenario you can pin the joint, however this means it will be in a fixed position.

I've got a Question for Beginners like Me: can ya combine certain HG Parts (Like the Build Booster & MK-II) on RG Gunpla like the RG RX-78 Gundam? I just bought my own and i wonder if i can create a Custom MS using Both
HG & RG parts! so is it Doable?

dear riderman09.i'll answer your question.
If the Connectors are the same.they can combine .
but in fact.the Structure of HG gunpla is very simple。
most of them even don't have a
Skeleton.
so you may hard to find a part what can pair the RG in HG.
but,on theother hand, you can make a connectors to let them can pair.
Recommend the ABS board. It's easy to cut and easy to stick.
besides,RG's parts are small and a lot.
1 part in HG may be many picks in RG.
so that you may have to do some works in the HG part to let them fit.
use the saw to make it!
and,the color of plastic may be different .
pay attention on it!

---
sorry i forget to say.
it's not only a way to build them together.
use the glue can get a good shape too!
(but remember, use this way on the surface not the
A movable structure)

if you trust you have enough technology.
you can buy the bandai's "builder's parts".
it will helps you a lot ! :)

have a good time to enjoy the beauty and the fun of GUNPLA!

Depends on which parts you are talking about. Some models come with compatible parts which can easily be swapped (from joint to joint). Others might require you to do some handy work if they arent supposed to fit...
